Fees and Insurance

My standard fee for a 50-minute session of individual, couples, or family therapy is $195. However, I understand that everyone’s financial situation is unique, and I am committed to making my services accessible. Therefore, I offer a sliding scale rate for a limited number of clients based on their financial need.

I am a provider who operates outside of insurance networks and do not directly accept insurance. Working outside of insurance gives me the freedom to address a broad range of mental health concerns, provide treatments that best suit you, and adjust the length of therapy based on your needs.

I offer a courtesy billing service, where I may submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf at no extra cost. This service is optional and may be discontinued at any time. If you prefer to seek reimbursement yourself, I can provide you with Superbills that you can submit to your insurance company. Reimbursement is subject to your insurance plan’s requirements, including timely filing limits, and the amount you receive will vary based on your specific out-of-network coverage.

To learn more about your out-of-network benefits or reimbursement rules, please reach out directly to your insurance company.

You are entitled to receive a ‘Good Faith Estimate’ which will provide you with an explanation of the anticipated expenses associated with your medical and mental healthcare.

According to legal requirements, healthcare providers are obligated to provide individuals with a projected cost estimation for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You are entitled to obtain a Good Faith Estimate detailing the anticipated total expenses for all non-emergency healthcare services for your psychotherapy services.

Before scheduling a healthcare service, feel free to request a Good Faith Estimate from your healthcare provider.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
